It was a pleasure to be a guest on the Work in Progress podcast for their October episode, "Revising". Stacie Murphy, author of A Deadly Fortune and The Witch's Secret, interviewed me about how I first wrote my poem "Leaves on the Tree", what the critiquing process was like with our Arlington Writers Group community, and how I revised the poem based on the feedback I received.

"Leaves on the Tree" was first published in ionosphere Vol. I Issue 2 by Amplicon Press (July 2024) and recently came out in Paloma Press' The Nature of Our Times anthology (September 2025). Submitting my poetry to a critique group and implementing the constructive comments I received improved my writing, and I am so proud of how this poem has done since being revised.
