I read my new poem at the Virginia Bards book launch 10/10/26

I am grateful to be included in the Virginia Bards 2026 Anthology and had a great time at the October 10th book launch event held at the Holiday Inn Chantilly Dulles Expo! Editors, contributors, poets, friends and family alike were in attendance--all poetry enthusiasts and we had a wonderful time. I participated in the poetry reading portion of the event, sharing my poem, "Soon", that's included in the anthology.

Thank you to the organizers and all those who showed up to support poetry and the Virginia Bards community. Local Gems Press has published NoVa Bards (Northern Virginia) and Central Virginia anthologies before, but this was the first state-wide Virginia Anthology to be put out, so it's extra special to be a part of this inaugural issue.

The issue is still available for purchase online, but of course the pre-order for in-person pickup is no longer an option since the book launch event has passed. I'll update my Publications page if the link to where copies can be purchased changes. Thank you for all your support! I enjoyed hearing other poems during the reading and look forward to reading all the rest that's in the anthology.
