My poem, titled "Eros", is out now in Moonflake Press' special 10th issue, The Affair Vol. II. Moonflake Press' first issue had the theme The Affair, so in celebration of having a 10th issue, they dedicated the theme accordingly. I really enjoyed reading Vol. I (it inspired me to submit to the Vol. II submission window!), so I've linked there as well in case you're interested.

I wrote about Eros, the god of passion, after reading The Complete Poems of Sappho by Willis Barnstone, where Sappho often writes poems addressing deities like Eros and Aphrodite especially. After I found out that Eros is also the name of a possible asteroid impactor of Earth, I wanted to write a poem that leverages both of these identities. I hope you enjoy my queer & science influenced love poem!

I'm thrilled to be published by Moonflake Press, with its all woman team <3
